Travel south of the border and learn how to prepare traditional tamale masa (dough), make both chicken and vegetarian fillings, and fill a dozen tamales exactly how you like them. Once the tamales are in the steamer, you will prepare three styles of salsas that will quickly find their way into your kitchen repertoire. You will also learn the secret to making the perfect Mexican style rice and the meal will be rounded out with a crisp green salad alongside a cilantro citrus vinaigrette. Grab a Tecate with lime - on special for $2.00 during the class - and get ready for one tasty dinner. You will make plenty of tamales to take home and enjoy after the class as well. Wine, beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase before the class from our retail store. Bar set up will be provided.
